About my activities…

A member of Veterans Affairs Canada’s Family Advisory Committee since 2016 and a blogger on 45eNord.ca (2015 to 2020), I travel across Canada to understand the reality of Veterans and their families. Whether they have chosen to settle in Costa Rica (2018), whether they are from Indigenous communities and French-speaking communities outside of Quebec (2018), whether they are from deployed Canadian military families and Military Family Resource Centres (MFRCs), specifically in Italy and Belgium (2019), I go to meet them.

I have developed an excellent knowledge of professions, the organizational culture and the engagements in which members of the CAF and the RCMP have participated.

Recipient of the Veterans Ombudsman Commendation in 2016, I have been involved politically, in the media and publicly to understand and make heard the unique challenges faced by those who have served our country, by their family members and also by the organizations and health professionals who serve them.

I understand the challenges they face daily in obtaining the services and benefits they need to recover and maintain their quality of life. Understand, facilitate and simplify : Veteran Evaluation is a unique service in Canada, created to bridge the gap between health professionals and Veterans in their dealings with Veterans Affairs Canada and the Veterans Review and Appeal Board.
